Over 25 years of experience as a yachtsman on motor and sailing yachts, private and charter, Florida Coast including the Keys, Bahamas, Hamptons, and Northeast waters, Mediterranean. Miami local for over 10 years. For the past 3 years, he has been developing and offering weekly and bi-weekly sail plans and itineraries for charters in the Bahamas on Sailing Monohull and Catamarans. His pure passion for the ocean allows him to offer a variety of services from Captain, Deckhand, Dive Master, Freediving assistant, Fishing Mate (rod&reel and spearfishing including pole spear) Fish Cook with an Italian background and Japanese/Mexican influences.

Kaj Smith was born in Sweden to a Swedish mother and an American father. After only a year he was brought back to Florida where he grew up between Gainesville, Miami, and Orlando. After spending many summers with his grandfather sailing in the Bahamas Kaj was presented with an opportunity to work in yachting. Starting out on Superyachts as a deckhand he spent 2 seasons in the Mediterranean, then went on to work on smaller yachts as a mate cruising extensively throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, parts of Central America, and the east coast of the US.
At the age of 25, Kaj earned his 100-ton Merchant Mariners Captains’ license and at 26 started his first Captains job aboard a 75-foot Hatteras motor yacht. From there Kaj has gone on to Captain a plethora of other yachts and Sport-fishers ranging from 60’to 110’. His passion for the water has been in his blood since he was a child, he loves free diving, spearfishing, diving, hiking, cooking, business, and adventuring. His 20-plus years of knowledge around the ocean and yachts allows him to create the most fun-filled itineraries for the most experienced to novice yachtsman alike.

Born in Venezuela with Italian and Portuguese family. He grew up playing sports all his life, baseball and mountain biking at very competitive levels. Modifying, Breaking and fixing things were very common from a very young age. Miguel moved to Miami at the age of 16 where he caught the attention been surrounded by the Ocean and boats all around.
10+ years in the Marine industry with experience in shipyards, refits and cruising the world Sailing/motoring the Mediterranean, Canada, US East Coast, Bahamas and all Caribbean Islands on vessels ranging from 50ft to 200ft. His passion for mechanics became a hobby growing up, building and racing cars are part of his daily life. Graduated from Marine Mechanic Engineer School in South Florida. Been able to travel the world doing what he loves reflects on the quality of experience he shares onboard.

For the past five years as a yachtsman/sailor, he has grown to love this industry. After spending two years in the Bahamas and traveling up and down the east coast he grew an appreciation for the ocean. Fishing in all aspects is his background as well as the hospitality side. He managed restaurants for the previous 9 years before his yachting career. Serving people and showing them an amazing vacation is what he lives for. To see the smiles on our guest’s faces after the adventure we provide truly makes his day.

After completing high school in the hospitality industry, Nicole went for her first job as stewardess and sailor on a 100 ft vessel and spent 3 years onboard chartering throughout the Mediterranean waters. She then worked for 11 years as Meeting Planner for ABTS Convention Services, a leading company servicing Medical Associations, assisting corporations and their attendees in planning their travel.
As anyone else in her family she also grew up in the water and she felt the ocean call and went back to the yachting industry.
